THE 3-DAY SOUP CLEANSE: FIGHT DISEASES, BELLY FAT AND INFLAMMATION (VIDEO)

VEGGIE DETOX SOUP RECIPE

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 medium carrots, chopped
  • 1 heaping tablespoon fresh grated ginger*
  • 1 heaping tablespoon fresh grated turmeric *
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste (optional)
  • 2-3 cups of thinly sliced cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can of cannelleni beans, drained and rinsed
  • 8 cups water (or 4 cups vegetable broth + 4 cups water)
  • Small bunch of swiss chard, stemmed and cut into thin ribbons (or any leafy greens you have)
  • 2 zucchinis, chopped Juice from
  • 1/2 of a lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
