THESE 5 ABDOMINAL EXERCISES ARE BETTER THAN CRUNCHES

Crunches and sit-ups are definitely useful, but in addition to being difficult to perform, many people suffer back and neck pain from doing them.

That’s why today we present you with some exercises that offer the same calorie burning effects. In addition, these exercises are ideal for beginners and we recommend you to try them.

Side leg curl

Medicine Ball Twists

Sit on the floor and stretch your legs and back as much as possible. Turn to one side of your body, then the other, with your arms spread out in front. Repeat this exercise ten more times. Do 12 complete rounds. (There are 24 rounds!)

Medicine Ball jackknives

Medicine Ball jackknives are one of the most effective ways to work your core in a short amount of time. Lie down with your legs straight. Over your head, hold a medicine ball. Raise your legs as high as possible, keeping them as straight as possible as you move the medicine ball closer to them. Lower yourself slowly, then repeat the exercise. If you have trouble doing these, bend your knees toward your chest rather than keeping your legs straight. Your abs will burn after three sets of 10 to 15 reps per side.

Mountain Climber Crosses

To do this exercise, get into a plank position and bring your left knee close to your chest, then push it back and pull your right leg toward your chest, simulating a climbing action. Then repeat the action for 30 to 60 seconds.

Spread Leg V-Ups

As if you were against a wall, lie flat on the floor with your legs vertical. Hold this position while trying to extend your back so that your fingertips touch your toes. Make sure your core is engaged when you do this, and you should feel a fantastic abdominal burn. Repeat until you fail!
